Bella Magazine debuted in June 2006 and 2018 brings on our TWELFTH YEAR!! It is a monthly, free publication for women that is distributed in carefully selected locations throughout Central and Southwest Virginia. It is available in print in over 300 locations throughout Virginia and online here on our website and at Issuu.com by clicking HERE.

Meet Our Team
Joey has over 25 years of magazine design and editorial experience and has won numerous design awards. She has been a huge part of the local cultural & civic community, giving back with countless volunteer hours and board involvement to committee chairing and event management. She lives in Roanoke with her husband and three sons; and tries to knit in whatever spare time she can find!

Hayleigh graduated from Roanoke College in August 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in English. At Beck Media Group, she has found an environment that nurtures her passion for creativity and allows her to develop both as a person and a writer. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
Samantha Fantozzi, Editorial Intern
Samantha is a senior at Roanoke College and is an intern for her Spring semester. She is a creative writing major, and hopes to one day be an author. The opportunity to write for and work with a magazine is what attracted her to a Bella internship.

Lilith is a intern from Hollins University for the month of January. She is a big believer in women helping other women succeed. This is what drew her to Hollins and now has drawn her to Bella!

Faith is a local entrepreneur, creative and believer. Her businesses include Faith Inspired and The Hill City Handmade. Faith has a degree in Art and Photography and is a former high school art and culinary teacher. She enjoys spending time with her family and travelling. Faith’s motto is, “Paris is always a good idea.”

Bryan is a home-grown native of Fairbanks, Alaska and an alumni of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Bryan is a Certified Fitness Coach whose passions range from dance and sport performance to nutrition. He enjoys comic books, quality time with loved ones, and any movie with Emma Stone.

Tina Hatcher is the Owner of Earth Girl Wellness, LLC. Her adventure in the field of nutrition and wellness has expanded over 25 years and has seen dramatic changes. Starting with a formal education at Virginia Tech and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Science degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Adult Fitness, her passion for overall wellness has allowed her to work in multiple disciplines from corrective exercise, sports performance and sports nutrition, weight loss, and nutritional counseling across all ages from children through the elderly.
(Earth Girl Wellness provides life enriching navigation though the holistic world of nutrition and fitness. Earth Girl focuses on individual goals of achieving balance between nutritious food intake and positive energy expenditure. She believes it is important to work with individual core values, budgets and motivators. She engages people on their journey to define and achieve optimal wellness though one on one counseling sessions, small group classes and large group seminars. Earth Girl promotes a fun, progressive, realistic and creative problem solving path to building self-esteem and a confident lifestyle.)
